The first page of my WIP is completed today! YIPPEE! You know, when I look at my wip from a distance it doesn't look like any fabric is showing between the stitches, but once I took photos of it with my digital camera, it looks covered in white spots! Or should I say blue spots since the fabric is blue. HMM, I'm thinking of adding one more strand of floss making it 3 over 1. But will one corner of two strands stick out like a sore thumb?

New Pic of Silky
This is what I get when I don't put the laundry away. Silky decided to plop down on my just washed zebra print bedspread. He looked so comfortable and cute that I couldn't push him off.

First Post of My Blog
I am stitching HAED's Soul Mates by Anne Stokes. The first page is almost completed and I will be snapping a photo of it very soon.
It is being stitched on 18 count blue Davos fabric, 2 over 2. You may be asking why blue fabric. Well, Davos is a little expensive and I found a yard of fabric on ebay for only $5.00! Besides, the whole pattern will be covered with floss so no blue will show through the stitches. Hopefully!
This is what it will look like once I'm finished:
This is such a great pattern! I really love the dark against the light floss and so far it doesn't have a huge amount of confetti stitches. OMG, I tried stitching a Mystic Stitch pattern and every stitch was a different color floss and I ended up with this huge pile of floss on the back. It was horrible. After the stitching half of the first page, I gave up and started a new pattern.
