Completed Cross Stitch Projects

Garden Verses by Mirabilia Designs - stitched on 28 count evenweave 2 over 2:

This took me a very long time to stitch, over a year.  I now wish I had a frame made for it as some of the pattern is cut off on the bottom with the ready made frame that I had hanging around.

The Kiss by Maria van Scharrenburg stitched 2 over 2 on 28 count evenweave:

I had this frame laying around waiting for something to go in it.  It measures 12 x 24 inches inside of the frame.  I think it goes well with the subject matter.  This is hanging in my bathroom.

Wannabee Bears: Butterflies - 2 over 2 on 28 count evenweave:

I stitched this for my cousin's baby shower. It's a boy so I wanted something that wasn't too girlie. If you look closely, the cross stitch is off a little within the frame at the time I took this picture. I've since fixed it. I changed it up a bit from the pattern. The backstitch for the outside border called for a reddish brown color, but I did it in black. The lower right corner is a heart with two buttons in the pattern, but I didn't like it so I just stitched another butterfly.
